Well, we are here. We just got internet last Friday so that explains the delay in sharing our journey with you.
Goto Island is very pretty, Fukue City is rather small. Not at all a city but it has what we need for now. We just returned from Nagasaki City and are rather exhausted from the 3.5 hour ferry ride. Lots to tell soon but for now...
Here's the harbor that is five minutes from our house..
Here's who I spend the majority of my days with now. Though usually they aren't dressed so fancy. Usually they are dressed more like...
this guy, who starts school this Wednesday on a trial basis.
So we are back and happy and tired and adjusting. I'll write more later. Hope all of you are fantastic.
Take care.
XO

these city names are ringing a bell- i'm wondering if this is where my brother was teaching a few years ago...
Oh, I'm so glad you made it to Japan, and I don't mean the plane trip from the states--there, but the whole process of getting back. I know it's what you wanted. The kiddies are so cute, and I love Sebastian's uniform!
hey! welcome back! you've basically hit the ground running.
is sebastian going to a montessori?
i love that mr grumpy t on nico. very cute. although he doesn't seem like the grumpy type.
that photo of the bay looks beautiful.
hope your transition is smooth.
Is the blue outfit and straw hat part of Seb's uniform? Does he wear this daily or for special occasions? Does he need school supplies? Crayons? Markers? Workbooks? Activity books? File folder learning games? Independent reading books? So asks his aunt lizzie, the teacher. Glad to see everyone is doing well and looking well-adjusted and happy.
Peace...
